Looking after them
Spring blooms typically last five to eight days. Top up the water every couple of days and keep the box somewhere cool — spring flowers are more heat-sensitive than natives or sunflowers, and a warm windowsill will halve their life. Daffodils release a sap that shortens the life of other flowers, so if you rearrange the box, keep them in their own water for a few hours first.
