Flower Delivery Stirling

Stirling is a suburb most of Perth passes through rather than stops in. The Mitchell Freeway runs straight down the middle of it, the train station sits in the median, and the City of Stirling civic complex and Stirling Village Shopping Centre anchor the eastern side. But behind that, on both sides of the freeway, are ordinary streets full of ordinary households, and a hospital that serves a large part of the northern suburbs. Those are where most of our deliveries here actually go.

Osborne Park Hospital is in Stirling

Despite the name, Osborne Park Hospital sits inside this suburb, on Osborne Place off Sarich Court. We deliver there regularly, and a get well order is one of the most common reasons people search for a florist covering Stirling.

To make it work smoothly, give us the ward and the patient’s full name. Room numbers help but are not essential, as wards move patients. Before ordering, it is worth a quick call to the ward, because some units do not accept flowers at all and a few restrict what can be brought in. If flowers are not permitted, sending to the family’s home address is the better call. They will actually see them there, and someone will be around to put them in water.

For hospital rooms, we keep arrangements compact and lightly scented. A large, heavily perfumed bouquet is difficult in a shared room and often ends up on a windowsill out of reach.

Homes on both sides of the freeway

Stirling’s residential streets sit either side of the freeway, from the pocket near the Civic Gardens and Cedric Street through to the quieter streets running off Odin Road and Karrinyup Road. Access is straightforward in most of it, so a plain street address is usually enough.

Two things are worth adding when they apply. If the property is behind a gate or in a newer townhouse group, include the unit number and a mobile for the recipient. And if the delivery is a surprise for someone who commutes, think about when they will actually be home. A bouquet left at a front door in the afternoon does better on a shaded porch than a west facing one, so tell us where to put it and we will follow that instruction.

Workplaces near the station and the civic centre

The civic complex, the offices around Cedric Street and the businesses near Stirling Village and the bus interchange all receive deliveries from us. For any of these, include the department or business name, the level or suite, and the recipient’s full name. Large workplaces cannot match a first name to a person, and a bouquet left at a shared reception without a full name tends to sit there.

If your recipient finishes at a set time, say so on the order. We would rather schedule the run around it than arrive at a locked entrance.

Same day cut off

Same day delivery to Stirling closes at 4 PM, Monday to Saturday. Most other services covering this suburb stop between 12 PM and 2 PM on weekdays, and one stops at 10 AM on Saturday, which effectively removes the entire weekend afternoon. Our later cut off exists because most people decide to send flowers after something has happened, and that is rarely before lunch.

Orders placed after 4 PM, or on a Sunday, go out on the next delivery day. We do not deliver on Sundays.

What delivery costs

Delivery to any Stirling address is $28. That figure is visible at checkout before you enter your payment details, and it does not change depending on which side of the freeway the address is on, or whether it is a house, an office or the hospital. There is no fuel charge, no weekend loading and nothing added afterwards.

Deliveries into neighbouring Balcatta, Innaloo, Osborne Park, Gwelup and Karrinyup run on the same schedule.

Your card message is handwritten. Care instructions go out with every order. If what arrives is not in a condition you are happy with, call us and we will replace it.
